It's Spring! Time for New Relases!

We've got a couple new releases to announce very soon as well as some information on new shows.

RED IRON ORCHESTRA S/T ALBUM OUT NOW!

Red Iron Orchestra's self-titled debut EP is out now! Head over to iTunes to pick up the new record for $3.99 or head to the Elkion Store to order a physical copy for $5 (shipping included in the US).

Original artwork was done by Mark Penxa. The album was recorded with C. Laszlo Koltay (Akron Family, My Morning Jacket) and mastered by Dave Feeny. Yes, it looks and sounds amazing.

Solid Dudes Kitchen - OMFTROYL

Brand new SDK episode. Dave and Derek will be reprising their roles in Heads Will Roll on December 26th, playing with Few and Far Between and Bars of Gold.

RED IRON ORCHESTRA CD RELEASE!

Red Iron Orchestra will be celebrating the release of their debut EP on Wednesday, November 24th at Small's Bar in Hamtramck, MI (that's the night before Thanksgiving for those keeping score - come to drink and party). They'll be sharing the stage with Destroy This Place and Roofbeam Rye. Everyone through the door will receive a FREE copy of the new album. Doors are at 8pm and the show is ALL AGES. It's $7 (or $10 if you're under $21, sorry!).

In case you can't make it out to the release party, the album is officially released on Friday, November 26th and you'll be able to pick it up on iTunes (or your favorite digital retailer) on that day.

F&FB Return to Brooklyn

Few and Far Between return to Brooklyn on November 20th playing alongside Hans Blix, Gilgongo and CT Burners. Doors are at 8pm. $10.

Big news coming shortly....

PLANES

We are excited to announce the upcoming debut release from PLANES entitled Mountainside. As mentioned previously, PLANES features Elkion alumni Peter Toh and newcomer Zach Botham.

The release will be a limited edition 12" (only 300 copies!!) with an exclusive print from Brooklyn artist Judith Supine as the cover. A digital version will come free with the record. We're scheduling a release party/performance to coincide with the release in late September.

Mark Penxa and Don Pendleton have announced a collabrative show in upstate NY! Anyone that lives in the area should make it out to check out the work of these two. We'll be there!

THE WORST IS YET TO COME explores the modern decay of interpersonal communication and a culture in overall decline. Both artists will be in attendance.
